Dear Parents and Guardians,   

We hope everyone had a wonderful summer.  Our staff is excited and looking forward to welcoming our returning and new students to Saddle Ridge school for the 2023-2024 school year.   

School Start-up Information   

All students begin the school year on August 31, 2023. Please see the following schedules to see when students attend school.   

Grade 1 - 4  

August 31, 2023 (8:00m-2:30pm)  

7:45am - 8:00am - Relaxed Entry. Teachers will meet their students in the compound area at the back of the school.  

8:00am - Classes Begin  

11:35 am - 12:27 pm – Lunch break 

2:30 pm - Students are dismissed at their assigned doors.  

Friday, Sept. 1, 2023, Early Dismissal Day (8:00am-12:00pm)  

7:45am - 8:00am Relaxed Entry. Students go to assigned doors.  

8:00am - Classes Begin  

12:00pm - Students are dismissed at their assigned doors.  

 

Kindergarten – Staggered Entry 

The Kindergarten entry/exit door is the west door, facing the staff parking lot. 

Thursday, August 31, 023 is Staggered Entry 

AM Kindergarten   

8:30am - 9:30am    - Last name beginning A - K  

9:45am - 10:45am - Last name beginning L - Z   

PM Kindergarten   

11:45am – 12:45pm - Last name beginning A - K 

1:00pm -    12:00pm    - Last name beginning L - Z   

 

*There is no school for Kindergarten on Friday, Sept. 1, 2023 

Regular classes start Tuesday, September 5, 2023 

  

Welcome Emails   

Teachers will be sending out a welcome email to you on August 29, 2023.  This email will contain information about entry and dismissal on the first day of school, which door your child is expected to enter and exit, where to meet your child’s teacher and other important information about the class.   

We are very excited to our start of the school year and looking forward to seeing all of our families on August 31, 2023.
