Registration at Calgary Board of Education (CBE) schools is not determined on a first come, first served basis. Registration and admission to schools in CBE is governed by the Education Act and Administrative Regulation 6090 | Child and Student Registration and Admission
AM/PM Class Preference
When registering for Kindergarten guardians can indicate a preference for AM or PM class. An effort is made to accommodate timing preference. However, if there are more families seeking a preferred placement time than spaces available, we will make a random draw from registrations received before May 1. All registrations after this date will be placed where space allows.
