Good Afternoon Saddle Ridge Families, 

Remember that our Open House – Meet the Teacher evening is today from 4-7 pm. Our teachers are excited to meet with you this evening. Our Scholastic Book Fair is open from 4-7 pm in the gathering space. Also, there is no school for all students tomorrow, Friday, September 27. 

September 30 – National Day for Truth and Reconciliation   

We would like to remind parents that there is no school on Monday, September 30 in recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. All Calgary Board of Education schools will be closed to honour this day.  

Orange Shirt Day – October 1 

Students & staff will be participating in Orange Shirt Day on Tuesday, October 1. Orange Shirt Day is a way to commemorate residential school victims, honour survivors and their families, and commit to acting on reconciliation. 

 School Forms Submission   

Please complete the Annual Authorization form and Demographics Verification form in School Engage as soon as possible. You will find access to School Engage through your MyCBE account. If you do not have a MyCBE account or you need assistance to complete the form, please contact the school office. 

 Lunch Supervision Program   

Students who stay at school for lunch need to be registered in the Lunch Supervision Program. If you have not already registered your child through your MyCBE account. The school office will register children who are staying. The annual fee is $305.    

 Noon Supervision Program and Transportation fees will appear in your MyCBE account by the end of October. You can pay your student’s fees through your MyCBE account or at the school office.
