Hello Saddle Ridge School Families,
We want to say a HUGH thank-you to our generous Saddle Ridge School community. The Terry Fox Run fundraising exceeded our goal and we were able to send a donation of $1,777.25 to the Terry Fox Foundation. Way to go Saddle Ridge School !!
Please remember that Thanksgiving Day is on Monday, October 14 and the school is closed.
Bussing & Student Safety
Beginning Oct 16, we have 5 school buses providing service for our students. Please be aware that there is very limited parking in front of the school as the bus zone has now been expanded to accommodate the 5 buses. To ensure the safety of all our students, please remember the following during drop-off and pick-up times:
- No parking or stopping in the bus zone located at the front of the school.
- Please use the designated crosswalks when crossing our busy streets.
School Council & School Society Meetings
The next School Council & School Society meetings will be on Monday, October 21 at 1:30 pm. One of the most important ways parents/guardians and community members can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on the school council. The School Council’s function is to give input to the school principal on matters related to the school. The School Society’s main function is fundraising in support of student programs and learning.
All parents/guardians are welcome to attend. There will be translation (Punjabi, Hindi) for those who require it.
Outstanding Forms
Thank-you to all the families that have completed their Annual Authorization form and Demographic Verification form. If you have not yet submitted these forms, and need assistance, please contact the school office. The forms are in your MyCBE account located in the On-line Forms section.
