We hope all our families had a restful Fall Break. November 21 is student photo re-take day. If your student was away on our fall picture day, your student will have their photo taken this day.
Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences
Our Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences will be on November 28 & 29. Booking opens on Thursday, November 21. You can book a conference time with your student’s teacher through your MyCBE account. There will be no school for any Kindergarten students on Thursday, November 28 as teachers will be in conferences. There will be no school for any Kg – Gr 4 students on November 29. Conference times are as follows:
- Thursday, Nov. 28 Kindergarten: 8:00 am – 2:30 pm
- Thursday, Nov. 28 Kindergarten to Gr. 4: 3:30 -7:30 pm
- Friday, Nov. 29 Kindergarten to Gr. 4: 8:00 am – 1:30 pm
Cold Weather Reminder
Please ensure your child has appropriate winter clothing each day (coat, boots, hat and gloves). Students will go outside at lunchtime unless the temperature reaches –20 degrees. They may also go outside during PE and other learning activities Our winter weather can fluctuate during the day, so we encourage students to be prepared for all weather conditions each day.
School Council/School Society Meeting
The next School Council Meeting is on Monday, November 25 at 1:30 pm. All parents are welcome to come and learn the many ways the School Council/School Society support learning at Saddle Ridge School. Click here to read more about our School Council and to see upcoming meeting dates. Our Assistant Principal Ms. Mehta will be able to provide translation in Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu, as needed.
