Good Afternoon Saddle Ridge Families, 

 We had an awesome week at Saddle Ridge School full of love, laughter and learning! Our Gr. 3 & 4 students were treated to a wonderful music concert. Our guest pianist brought their baby grand piano to Saddle Ridge School!  Thank-you to all the parents from Rm. 81 & 82 who came to support their students’ at the Celebration of Learning. Our AM Kindergarten classes went on their first field trip to Butterfield Acres. 

Volunteer Tea 

If you have been a volunteer for your student’s class this year you are invited to our Volunteer Appreciation Tea on Thursday, June 13. Be on the look-out for an invitation from your classroom teacher. 

Students Moving   

If your child will be going to a different school next year, or you are moving, please email the school office at saddleridge@cbe.ab.ca with your child’s name, grade and the name of the next year school.  Registration for new students for the coming school year is ongoing 

2024-2025 School Bus Transportation 

Families are now able to register for school bus service for the 2024-2025 school year. Service levels and proposed fees will remain the same as the current school year. Registration is available using your MyCBE account. Click here to reach the CBE website Transportation page for more information..  

Families must register by Sunday, June 16 for students to be added to routes for the start of the next school year. We continue to accept registrations after the deadline; however, students are added to the closest existing stop with available space. Processing times could be up to six weeks at the beginning of the school year due to volume. 

Off-site/On-Site Activity Costs 

This year, each class participated in both an on-site and off-site activity. These activities enhance student learning. We would like to extend a big “Thank-you” to the Saddle Ridge School Society for providing funding to cover the cost (bussing & program fees) for 1 field trip per class this year. If you still have outstanding fees for your student, these can be paid through your MyCBE account or in the school office during business hours.
