Hello Saddle Ridge Families, 

Welcome to the month of May! It will be a busy month with many field trips, on-site activities and Celebrations of Learning for various classes. Please check your student’s Google Classroom for information specific to your student’s class. 

Off-Site Activities 

If your child brings home a field trip form, please sign and return it promptly. All students are welcome to participate in field trips however, only students that return a parent permission form can attend. Please check your myCBE account to see if there are school-based fees owing. 

Saddle Ridge School Council/ School Society 

We would like to thank the Saddle Ridge School Society for their support of Saddle Ridge School students. This year, the cost for one field trip for each grade will be covered by a donation from the School Society.  

If you are interested in serving on the School Council/School Society executive and would like more information about what is involved, please contact the chairperson at saddleridgeschoolsociety23@gmail.com  

All parents are welcome to attend meetings regardless of whether they are on the executive. Please click here to read about these important parent organizations. 

Lost & Found  

Is your student missing a hat, hoodie or coat? Our Lost & Found box is overflowing with student belongings. Please encourage your student to look for their lost items. Parents are also welcome to take a look for lost items. At the end of the school year, any items left will be donated to a local charity. 

Lost Library Books  

At Saddle Ridge School our Learning Commons has books our students can use at school and borrow to read at home. Each year many books borrowed by students are not returned.  

Your student will receive a notice listing books that have been borrowed and hopefully the book can be found and returned to the school.  If books are lost, there will be a lost book fee charged to their school fees account.  Thank- you for helping us support our Learning Commons
