Good afternoon Saddle Ridge School Families,

We had a great week at Saddle Ridge School and the school was filled with pink on Pink Shirt Day. The Grade 4 classes attended the annual TELUS Be Brave #EndBullying Game with the Calgary Hitmen at the Saddle Dome. Grade 2 classes got creative with their  in-school activity , Clay 4 Kids.

New School Website

Saddle Ridge School has a new website! Going forward, the weekly message will include a link to the school calendar page where you will be able to see the dates of activities happening at the school. The new school website format is phone friendly for easier viewing and upcoming calendar items are listed clearly on the home page.

Popcorn Day Fundraiser

The School Society is offering a Popcorn Day fundraiser. Forms & payment are due at the school on Monday, March 4.

Jump Rope for Heart – March 4-8

Jump Rope for Heart is the school FUNdraising event that nobody wants to SKIP! Students will discover fun ways to get active, practice healthy habits and learn about helping others while raising money to beat heart disease and stroke. Our Jump Event will be held in PE classes between March 4-8. The funds kids collect supports research that helps other kids and families across the country. As our heartfelt thank you for your support, students can earn a Thank You Prize, like an online gift card – from Toys “R” Us, Indigo, Amazon or Walmart.
