Good Afternoon Saddle Ridge Families,     

We had a great week at Saddle Ridge School filled with love, laughter, learning and sunshine! Our PM Kindergarten students enjoyed the Spring Babies program at Butterfield Acres this morning.

Grade 4 Apple Education Partnership 

We would like to express a huge thank you to Scott from Apple Education for guiding our students in using Keynote on our school iPads to animate their ideas and bring their thinking to life in exciting new ways. We’re so grateful for this partnership and the incredible student work it helped inspire. Our Grade 4 students proudly shared their visions around the environment and self-identity at the Celebrations of Learning the past few weeks. Thank you to our wonderful grade four students and teachers for all their hard work and dedication.  

Volunteer Tea - June 12  

At Saddle Ridge School we appreciate all the support of our school community.  We have many volunteers that help in a variety of ways—from field trips, on-site activities, School Council/Society and more. Our Grade 4 Choir club has put together a program to celebrate our volunteers. If you have volunteered with your child’s class this year, please join us on Thursday, June 12 at 1:30 pm.  

Bike to School Day  

Friday, June 13 is Bike to School Day. Students are invited to ride to school on their bike or scooter. No “electric” rides please. Bikes/scooters will be stored in the gym during the day. Please remember that students must wear a helmet when riding to school.  

2025-2026 Transportation Pre-registration Deadline - June 22 

The deadline for families to pre-register for school bus service for the 2025-2026 school year is June 22. Pre-registration ensures your student can access transportation services at the beginning of the school year. Those who do not pre-register may have to wait well into September to be assigned a bus.
