Good Afternoon Saddle Ridge School Families,  

We had a great week at Saddle Ridge School filled with learning and special activities like mini golf in the gym and Rubber Duck Day. Please click on the calendar link at the bottom of this message to see what activities are coming up. 

Pedestrian Safety 

We would like to remind families that student safety is of the upmost importance. Please use the designated crosswalks when bringing students to and from school. Staff are present to assist in the crosswalks before and after school. Do not cross the street between cars or buses as vehicles may not be able to stop. Thank you for reinforcing safe practices with your children. 

Please also be aware of our no-stopping bus zone at the front of the school. Our 5 school busses need unobstructed room to safely drop-off and pick-up students. 

2026-2027 School Registration & Alternate Program Expression of Interest 

Registration is now open for the 2026-2027 school year. Children born in the year 2021 are eligible to start kindergarten in September 2026.  Registrations received by noon on February 10, 2026 will be included in our Lottery draw on February 11, 2026.  

Registrations that are unsuccessful in the Lottery draw and registrations received after the Lottery draw, if they cannot be accommodated at Saddle Ridge School, will be placed on a priority call-back waitlist and overflowed to Hugh A Bennett School.   

If you are interested in your student attending one of the CBE Alternate programs (Science, TLC or language schools) Expression of Interest (EOI) forms are now available in your MyCBE account. EOI forms are due by February 10 to be included in the lotteries for those alternate program schools.  

Access to Online Report Cards 

Saddle Ridge School families will be able to view, download, and print online report cards starting February 24 in their MyCBE account. After May 29, 2026, all Semester 1 Reports Cards will no longer be available for viewing, downloading and/or printing.
