Welcome Back Saddle Ridge Families!   

We would like to thank our families for a wonderful start to the 2025-2026 school year. It’s great to see so many familiar faces in addition to our brand-new students. 

Doors are open from 7:45 to 8:00 am for student entry. Doors close promptly at 8:00 am. If your child arrives after 8:00 am they will need to enter through the front door. 

This year there are 5 busses transporting students to and from school. There is a long bus parking only area at the front of the school. Please do not park in this area when dropping off/picking up your student. Please use the designated cross walks when dropping off and picking up your child. 

Early Dismissal 

Please note that tomorrow, Friday September 5 school hours are 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. Also, AM Kindergarten will attend school tomorrow 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. 

School Forms Deadline  

The Annual Authorization Form (FOIP) will ensure your student’s picture & work can be included in their Google Classroom. The Demographics Verification form ensures the school has the correct emergency contact information for your child.  

Please complete the Annual Authorization form (FOIP) and Demographics Verification form in School Engage. If you have a change of address, please upload a current proof of address with the form. 

You will find access to School Engage through your MyCBE account under the On-Line Forms & School Registration section. If you do not have a MyCBE account please contact the office for assistance.  

 Field trips within walking distance 

The CBE values the educational benefit of field trips. Field trips close to our school can complement classroom learning by giving students opportunities to explore the community around their school. Some of our students in grades 1-4 will be taking walking trips throughout the year. If your child will be taking part in a walking trip you will receive a message from your child’s teacher.
