Good Afternoon Saddle Ridge Families, 

We had a busy first week of February with On-site activities and our Pizza Lunch. Although the weather has been very spring-like, remember temperatures vary during the day so ensure students have appropriate outdoor wear with them each day. 

Lottery Deadline 

The deadline for 2026-27 Kindergarten Registrations and Expression of Interest Forms (EOI) for alternate program schools to be included in the lottery is noon on Tuesday, February 10.  The Lottery will be held on Wednesday, February 11. All 2026-27 Kindergarten Registrations received after noon on February 10, that cannot be accommodated due to space, will be put on our priority waitlist. 

School Society Casino Fundraising Volunteers Needed 

School Society funding comes from the Casino fundraising event. The next Casino Fundraiser is March 20 & 21, 2026. More volunteers are still needed. Please contact the School Society at saddleridgeschoolsociety23@gmail.com or complete a volunteer contact form in the school office..  

The School Society provides funding to support student activities and programs at Saddle Ridge School. These include books for our Learning Commons, off-site and on-site student activities, technology, Raz-Kids reading program and much more. Most recently, our Learning Commons has received funding for items to make the space welcoming. We encourage parents to take a look during Parent/Teacher Interviews on February 26 & 27.   

A big thank-you to the School Council for organizing our Pizza lunch. There will be another Pizza Day before the end of the school year.
