Good Afternoon Saddle Ridge Families, 

Thank you to our Grade 1 students who presented the Friendship Assembly today – great job! Thank you to all the parents that came out to support our students. 

No Classes February 12-16 

Please note that there are no classes for students on Thursday, February 12 and Friday, February 13 due to the Teacher’s Convention. Also, Monday, February 16 is Family Day and the school will be closed.  We look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday, February 17. 

Jump Rope for Heart -February 17-26, 2026 

Jump Rope for Heart is the school FUNdraising event that nobody wants to SKIP! Students will discover fun ways to get active, practice healthy habits and learn about helping others while raising money to beat heart disease and stroke.  

Our Jump Event will be held in PE classes between February 17-26. The money kids collect supports research and raises awareness to help families across the country. As a thank you for your support, students can earn a Thank You Prize, like an online gift card – from Indigo, Amazon or Walmart. Any donation to the Foundation is much appreciated and celebrated! Donations of $5 will be entered into a draw for Jump Rope prizes. Donations over $20 will receive a tax receipt and donations over $25 are eligible for a gift card prize. Online or cash donations (brought to a student’s teacher) will be accepted. Parent/Teacher Conferences 

Parent/Teacher Conferences are on Thursday, February 26 & Friday, February 27. Parent/Guardians can book conference times through their MyCBE accounts beginning Thursday, February 19.
