Hello Saddle Ridge Families, 

Students were excited to be back from Spring Break and we had a great week of learning! Three of our Grade 2 classes had an awesome trip to the Calgary Zoo this week for the Arctic Adventure program. 

Home Reading 

All students have a home reading program organized by their classroom teacher. Please encourage your child to read each night. Students can choose between a home reading book from the classroom, RAZ kids or library books. Look for a detailed message from your classroom teacher in the upcoming week. 

Lost Library Books 

At Saddle Ridge School we have a wonderful Learning Commons filled with books our students can use at school and borrow to read at home. Each year many books borrowed by students are not returned. 

Your student will receive a notice listing books that have been borrowed and hopefully the book can be found and returned to the school.  If books are lost, there will be a lost book fee charged to their school fees account.  Thank- you for helping us support our Learning Commons

AHS Community Oral Heath 

The Community Oral Heath team from AHS is visiting our school on April 9, 14 & 16.  If your child is in Kindergarten-Gr. 2 and has previously completed a permission form for fluoride application, they will be seen on one of these dates.  Children who have not provided a permission form will not be seen.
