We had a great week at Saddle Ridge School. A huge thank-you to our Gr. 2 classes, their teachers and Mrs. MacEachern for the wonderful Earth Day Assembly.
Please note that tomorrow, Friday, April 24 is a Professional Learning day for teachers so there is no school for students.
Last Day for Borrowing Library Book, Overdue Books
The last day students can borrow library books is Friday, June 5.
Currently, there are more than 250 overdue library books signed out by Saddle Ridge Students. If books are lost, there will be a lost book fee charged to their school fees account. You will receive a notice before a lost book fee is being charged.
Thank you for your help in locating lost and overdue library books.
Lost Eye Glasses
We have a number of “found” pairs of children’s eye glasses in the office. If your child has lost their glasses, please come by to see if they are among our collection.
Registration Open for My 1st Ride
The Calgary Board of Education, along with our partners, are pleased to offer a school bus orientation program called My 1st Ride. This program is designed to familiarize new bus students with the experience of taking the yellow bus to and from school on a regular basis. The program will run on May 23 and May 24. School Council/School Society Meeting
The next meeting of the School Council and School Society will be on Monday, April 27 at 1:30 pm. All parents are welcome to attend.
