Dear New Kindergarten Families,
It was wonderful to meet so many of our future Kindergarten students and parents at our Welcome to Kindergarten event on May 22. We are very excited to welcome your child to our Kindergarten program at Saddle Ridge School for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
If you did not attend our Welcome to Kindergarten event, you can stop by the school office to pick up an activity bag for your child.
If you miss reading one of the Kindergarten emails that have been sent out, the information is posted on our website in the News section. The school website is equipped with a Google Translate feature so web pages may be viewed in your preferred language.
Bussing for Kindergarten Students
Families who are planning to have their students take the school bus for the 2026-2027 school year need to pre-register through your MyCBE account by June 14, 2026 to be added to routes for the start of the school year.
The Calgary Board of Education provides optional bus service before school or after school for Kindergarten children. There is no mid-day bus service. This means;
- AM Kindergarten -Students may register to come to school on the morning bus. Students will need to be picked up at 10:51 am by parent/guardian/caregiver.
- PM Kindergarten –Parents/guardian/caregivers will drop students off at 11:39 am for school. Students may register to go home on the afternoon bus.
