Good Afternoon Saddle Ridge Families,

This week was filled with laughter, learning and spring-like weather! Our grade one students explored the science topic of Energy and Movement, which included building wooden race cars. There are many more activities coming up so please take note of our Key Dates below.

Term I Student Report Cards

Student report cards can be viewed in your MyCBE account beginning January 30, 2024.  You may also print a copy of the report for your records. Report cards are accessible in your MyCBE account for approximately 4 weeks.

School Council/School Society Meeting

The Saddle Ridge School Council and School Society are meeting Monday, January 29 at 1:30 pm at the school. All parents are welcome to attend.

On-Site and Off-Site Fees

We have a number of upcoming on-site and off-site activities planned for students. Fees for these activities can be viewed and paid in your MyCBE account. You can also pay school-based fees and central fees in the school office during business hours.

If you would like to volunteer for on-site and off-site activities and have a valid police clearance please contact the office to complete a 2023-24 Volunteer Registration Form. If you would like to volunteer for future activities and do not have valid police clearance, please see the office for assistance in applying.

Immunizations

For those students who received immunization program letters from AHS, outstanding consent forms are due Monday, January 29. The immunization program will take place at the school on February 1 and will focus primarily on grade 1 students who are due for routine immunizations. Please contact the school immunization team at with the contact information provided in the consent package if you have any questions about the forms

Kindergarten Registration 2024-25  

Registration for the 2024-2025 school year opened on January 15, 2024.  If you have a child born in 2019 they are eligible to start kindergarten in September 2024.  Registration can be done through your MyCBE account. More information on registration can be found here.

As Saddle Ridge School is at capacity, we will be unable to accommodate all students who live within the designated school boundary. Please click here for information on the Lottery Process. Registrations received by noon on February 13 will be included in the Lottery Process.
