We had a great week filled with love, laughter and learning. Please take note that tomorrow, Friday, December 8 is a Professional Learning Day and there is no school for students.

 

Cold Weather reminder    

Students may go outside at lunchtime, and for PE and other learning activities. Please ensure your child has appropriate winter clothing each day (coat, boots, hat and gloves).   Our winter weather can fluctuate during the day, so we encourage students to be prepared for all weather. 

 

Loonies For Lunches

In December we are collecting Loonies for Lunches, which is a Calgary Food Bank campaign where the donations go towards students and families in need of healthy lunches around Calgary. Students can bring their donations to their classroom teacher between December 11 and 22. Thank you in advance for your support in this holiday season!

 

School Spirit Week 

Our festive School Spirit Week will be happening from December 19-22. All students are welcome to participate if they choose. 

• Monday Dec. 18- Red and Green Day – wear items that are red and/or green 
• Tuesday, Dec. 19- Sock Hop - each class will have music activities in the gym 
• Wednesday, Dec. 20- Winter Sweater/Build a Snowman Day – wear a winter sweater and be cozy all day 
• Thursday, Dec. 21- Pajama/Movie Day - wear your favourite pajamas
• Friday, Dec. 22 – Dress Festive Day – wear festive clothing/accessories

 

Kindergarten Registration 2024-25

Registration for the 2024-2025 school year opens on January 15, 2024.  If you have a child born in 2019 they are eligible to start kindergarten in September 2024.  Registration can be done through your MyCBE account. More information on registration can be found here.
