Dear New Kindergarten Families,
It was wonderful to meet so many of our future Kindergarten students and parents at our Welcome to Kindergarten event on May 23. We are very excited to welcome your child to our Kindergarten program at Saddle Ridge School for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.
Between now and the end of June you will be receiving several information emails from us. If you miss reading an email, the information is posted on our website in the News section. The school website is equipped with a Google Translate feature so web pages may be viewed in your preferred language.
Bussing for Kindergarten Students
Families who are planning to have their students take the school bus for the 2025-2026 school year need to pre-register through your MyCBE account by June 22, 2025, to be added to routes for the start of the school year.
The Calgary Board of Education provides optional bus service before school or after school for Kindergarten children. There is no mid-day bus service. This means;
- AM Kindergarten -Students may register to come to school on the morning bus. Students will need to be picked up at the end of the morning class by parent/guardian/caregiver.
- PM Kindergarten –Parents/guardian/caregivers will drop students off at school before PM Kindergarten class. Students may register to go home on the afternoon bus.
